鑑賞者が本作品の上を歩く事で、石が内包している膨大な記憶の時間軸の中では瞬きのように過ぎ去る私たちの生の瞬間と、連綿と続くこの世界が今、この瞬間にも確かに自分と繋がっている証としてそっと光を放ちます。
本作品は、ライフラインに依存しないメディアアートの可能性を提示します。
たとえ人々に忘れ去られる存在となっても、踏まれればいつでも光る作品として在り続けるでしょう。

Memory is encased within stones, formed through an inconceivable passage of time.
If so, then not only all of human history, but the memory of humans,dinosaurs, and anthropoids are together contained within, existing in silence before us.
Within the time axis of this vast memory encased in stones, the life of humans is nothing more than an instant.
This “blink stone” silently releases light as the feet of humans walk on its surface.
This light, within an unbroken and continual time axis, expresses the mark left by the fleeting yet unequivocal intervention of human life.
